The Valo is a ceramic light that uses an LED fixture. This lighti was inspired by classic ceramic works and a juxtapose of technology. The Valo is easily moved into location and position as there is no cord to hamper its use. The Valo slides open or closed on glass sleeves that allow for situational involvement. When closed, it gives an intimate glow that shoots a spotlight on a surface; when open, it lights the entire room with a cool glow. The Valo is lightweight and the matte finish gives another tactile involvement that encourages the user to explore its role and it's positions. The glass sleeves are made of recycled glass and the LED fixture uses a low watt systems that is powered by two AA rechargeable batteries.
