Adam Weaver is a California Bay Area based designer with the core principals of environmentally conscience design, whom strives to make products that positively affect the world in which we live. Adam Weaver creates limited run items that to custom furniture pieces. His work is as comfortable in home as in a gallery due to his use of familiar materials and colors. Adam Weaver designs products that range from Urban Bee Hives, lamps, and furniture to stylistic sofas.
His methodology is based on the idea that each user impacts the end design of a product, from ideation to user research. He maintains that a product grows by having it be met with it's user's expectations of rich interaction, which are founded through meticulous research and 3d modeling. Each product must go through the process of research, ideation, rough sketch, 3d rendering, and model making to ensure that it meets with his high user standards while keeping aesthetics within the design.
He strives to bring the user in touch with each design, they are not created to simply be looked at, instead he asks that his user take part in his designs with natural interactions. As each user becomes part of the design, it becomes more organic to the environment. Adam Weaverhas been featured in such publications as Wired, Yanko, Design Blog. He has worked with such influential design groups as David Weeks Studio's, AREAWARE, Kikkerland, Design Within Reach, and MATTER NYC.
